Fluent Page Translate is a browser extension that translates web pages using your own LLM API key. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

Fluent Page Translate does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Personally identifiable information (name, email, etc.)
• Browsing history or visited URLs
• Any user data whatsoever

API Keys

Your API key is stored locally in your browser's storage and is only sent directly to the API provider (e.g., OpenAI, Google, Anthropic) for translation requests. It is never sent to us or any third party.

Translation Data

Text selected for translation is sent directly from your browser to your configured API provider. We never intercept, log, or store any translation content.

Third-Party Services

This extension communicates solely with the API provider you configure. No other third-party services are involved.

Permissions

The extension requests only the minimum permissions required to function:

• storage — to save your API key and preferences locally
• scripting — to inject translation overlays into web pages
• contextMenus — to add right-click translate options
